Howdy! My name is Scott Leazenby, and I am a content creator from San Diego California. That sounds a lot more interesting than “I write hotel reviews”, right?
My primary gig is writing airline reviews for a living (which you can find by doing a search for SANspotter), which naturally led to the need for frequent hotel stays. I’ve never had any interest in the hotel niche, but after a few years of heavy travel I realized that I had a lot of valuable insight to share with other travelers.
I wrote my first hotel review way back in 2014. It sucked. It was 750 words of nearly useless drivel (kind of like how you would write a diary entry), and I think I only included two pictures. It was bad.
However, I kept at it, and I naturally became better as time went on. But I don’t want to toot my own horn or anything. That’s up for you to decide.
