Howdy! My name is Scott, and I am a content creator from San Diego California. That sounds a lot more interesting than “I write hotel reviews,” right?
My primary gig is writing airline reviews for a living, which naturally led to the need for frequent hotel stays. I’ve never had any interest in the hotel niche, but after a few years I realized that I had a lot of valuable insight to share with other travelers.

This is me, hard at work getting content for my YYC Courtyard Marriott review.
I wrote my first hotel review way back in 2014. It sucked. It was 750 words of nearly useless drivel (kind of like how you would write a diary entry), and I think I only included two pictures. It was bad.
However, I kept at it, and I naturally became better as time went on. But I don’t want to toot my own horn or anything. That’s up for you to decide.

A little behind-the-scenes action from my St Regis Beijing review.
All of the earlier content you see here on SleepAndReview.com started out on my airline review website. I moved all of it over here (to it’s own dedicated home) once I realized that I could present it all in a far more organized way if it wasn’t buried under other kinds of non-related content.
Have any questions or concerns? I love to hear them, so please feel free to reach out at any time.
